You Need Residual Income

I shared this on-the-spot post with my colleagues in an office WhatsApp group. I am not sure of the depth of impact it has had on any one of my colleagues in that group but I just feel sharing it here wont hurt. Enjoy:

How much is legitimately left for you to spend out of your May 2017 Salary? Remember yesterday was the overrated 19th.

Sincerely speaking, I don't even have a kobo to spare from it, I'd rather add to it to pay up my 2017/2018 house rent. I have been singing it all-week so you all know it. I'm already looking forward to the next 19th... Now, that's not funny.

What am I trying to say?

Nothing is as succinct in describing vicious cycle as Salary. Without it, we feel lost and when we find it, we embark on the same journey that get us lost again and again.

To constantly find the right path in the jungle of Salary, we all need a compass called Residual Income. It is that money that comes in with minimal efforts from you as a result of keying into an existing platform that guarantees such income. Residual income is the reason I don't feel much of the impact of giving more than my one month salary to my landlord at once.

I swear, salary without residual income is a trap. Never be caught napping in that zone.
Just do something, anything, to get an additional source of income. If you don't Earn from it, you'll Learn from it. There's such thing called loss except to a closed mind.

I understand we're all caught in a web of excuses but who excuses Epp? Excuses won't pay your rent, it won't pay your kids' school fees, it won't buy you a car yet it is a currency we passionately hold on to in exchange for pursuing our dreams.
Wouldn't you rather exchange your excuses for your dreams?

Be tough on yourself now that you're youthfully strong, hustling with grey hair and walking still isn't funny. God didn't place us in the that office without a reason, feel the pain of those old pensioners. Living on 14k pension isn't cool.

You know the sweetest thing about residual income? You most often get paid for doing nothing, usually when you're in bed. Is anything more elating than that?
